We are seeking an energetic Shipper/Receiver who is passionate about quality and keen to learn and contribute in a positive, high-performing team environment. Position Summary:
This role encompasses a full range of shipping and receiving responsibilities, including packaging goods, processing receipts in the system, inspecting incoming materials, preparing shipping documentation, managing courier relationships, and resolving discrepancies. The position also involves participating in daily planning meetings to coordinate upcoming shipments. Additionally, the role may require sourcing tools and equipment for the manufacturing team and providing backup support to the Quality Assurance function as needed.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and effectively manages time to meet deadlines. Success in this role requires excellent organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Initial/Main tasks
• Complete necessary shipping paperwork.
• Monitor customer electronic tracking information.
• Send advanced shipping notices to customers.
• Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities.
• Record receiving data in company database.
• Receive incoming shipments
• Process returns of damaged items.
• Perform physical count of inventory monthly.
• Stock shelves with items as necessary.
• Ensure workplace cleanliness and safety is maintained
• Package products according to company guidelines.
• Wrap skids when necessary.
• Organizing and handling of waste disposal.
• Sourcing tools and equipment, as required.
• Backfill quality assurance role, as required.
Education:
- Graduate 12 graduate of secondary school;
- Strong computer skills in MS Office and related software.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in a related clerical occupation or as a warehouse worker;
