We are seeking a versatile and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from front-end to production. Depending on your experience and interests, you may also have the opportunity to act as the team’s Scrum Master and mentor junior developers.

The location of this position can be any Produal location in Finland: Kotka, Muurame or Vantaa.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications that power next-generation building automation.
• Build responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular).
• Implement robust backend services with Node.js, .NET, or Python.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver seamless solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and make architectural decisions for full stack components.
• Integrate APIs, manage databases (SQL/NoSQL), and ensure security and performance.
• Champion agile and DevOps practices in a supportive, cross-functional team.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of full stack development experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and backend frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with Android/iOS development and cross-platform tools (Flutter) is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and building automation protocols (Modbus, BACnet) is an advantage.
• Fluent English; Finnish skills are a bonus.
